In October, Audi announced a new Audi Sport, which is not expected to debut until 2020, and it is also not clear how it will compare to the $21.2 billion new version of its flagship Audi A4.
The new sports model, which the automaker said it would begin making in the second half of 2018, will be the company’s first sports car.
Audi said it will release the new A4 in two models, a sports sedan and a crossover, with the sporty A4 Sport being sold in the US and the sportier A4 Coupe and A4 GTS available in Europe.
The next-generation Audi A6 sports car is expected in 2021, while the A7 sports sedan will be revealed at the Detroit auto show in 2020.
The A8 is expected next year, and a new A8 Sport will be unveiled in 2021.
The upcoming Audi A3 sports car could be revealed in 2019.
